Morning Breakfast was sumptutous. Had Bonda and poori.I am loving the Andhra cuisine.It makes my mouth water.We have various flavours of Andhra food.Spicy and tasty.Hyderabad is very very famous for its biryani. I have heard that Biryani actually has its roots in Persia and Gulf countries.Here the yesteryear Nawabs and Nizams patronised the same.Kashmiri badi mirch , saffron and badi elaichi are all adding to rich texture and flaour. The aroma of the handi biryani cannot be explained. For all food lovers there are varied delicacies in Andhra food.The rayalaseema coastal food is very spicy. Their fish pulusu is mouth watering. Also we have Karachi bakery here in Hyd.They have very very high quality exportable food items. Paradise and Shah Ghouse are very very good for Biryanis, Nalli curry, Kebabs. There are many more outlets. However I personally feel that food prepared by the Nizams or Muslim household are very very aromatic and they truly hold the reins in food making. Because Biryani is truly a Muslim cuisine. Also the Haleem during the Ramzan season is another lip smacking product. This food is very very rich with cashews, gheee and raisins.It is said that the ghee content is very high and has very high calorific value. It is made with the intention that people who break the fast can regain their energy very fast and reboost themselves. Will keep on adding some more memoirs. Just penning my random thoughts some silly, some thought provoking.
