Technology is advanced.Working women have different perils to face at homefront
and office.They play diverse roles and have to juggle between home and
office.Gone are the dayz when women come to office and then send mails.I land up
late daily in the mornings almost daily.Even my conscience hurts if I am
impunctual at work.I cannot pick up a quarrel with my hubby to drop me early to
office neither I can upset you either. So it is my smart way of handling my
work.I love my work and my friends like hell. I will do anything for them.Nobody
can curb my expression of speech.Somedays I browse and check the mails.Infact
many companies offer laptops, work from home options to ease the workload on
working mothers. Not only this some companies do offer options like paying th
grocery bills, creche facility to manage ther kids,yoga and other destress
options.Many lucrative offers are there nowadays for employee retention.Not only
this offic ein Mumbai are offering a new concept called compressed weekends
which means work 4 days a week formore hours and take an extended weekend to
spend good amount of time with family and kids.These options do come in Times
Ascent on Wednesday TOI.When someone is trying to move ahead we need not
showcase our crab mentality by pulling him or her down.We ought to make small
strides in changing from that utopian era.
Sorry for hurting you but what I read in paper I just wanted to convey you that.Nobody likes to be rebuked and scolded at workplace.Each and everyone craves for appreciation.Paralley if somebody is doing good at job front does not mean that their peers should be scolded.It varies from person to person.Some have that comfort at home, some don't have.Simple.Work comparison should always be avoided at office because it means you are emotionally hurting that person.Not only at office, everywhere.Each and every resource is important.If someones is lagging behind we need to motivate him or her not scold them because bad days can come to anyone.Just my thoughts I am penning it down here.
